Our ingredients are guaranteed fresh and at peak potency to deliver maximum benefits to your skin. We are able to deliver on this promise because, unlike most skincare brands, we make everything in small batches in-house at our production studio based in Connecticut.

Beyond certifications, we carefully research the sustainability of every ingredient.

We are currently recovering FIVE TIMES more plastic from the environment than the amount we use in our packaging and operations! That means for every 1 lb of plastic we use, we ensure 5 lbs of plastic waste are removed from the environment, making a dramatically larger positive impact on our planet's future.

At Apoterra, we are proud to be carbon negative. For every product sold, we plant one tree in collaboration with TREES—an effort estimated to capture significantly more carbon than we emit each year. While this program isn’t yet certified, we’re actively working towards achieving certification.

Eco-friendly packaging is complex—there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Factors like carbon emissions, recyclability, lifespan, and local recycling capabilities all play a role. While no packaging is perfect, we use data from Bluebird Climate to make informed decisions about our materials. We also consider the full lifecycle of our packaging by partnering with Pact, an any-brand recycling collective.
